It is such a good message! While I still love getting spoiled on Christmas with a few gifts (since I rarely buy myself anything), I do think the most important part of Christmas is to remember that it is Christ's birthday! It's not about us getting gifts. It's about us remembering that God gave us a gift in Jesus! My favorite part of celebrating Christmas is getting together with family. We get together very often, which I'm very thankful for already...but staying up until wee hours of the night/morning playing cards and watching the kiddos play with their new gifts is awesome!
