Advice and Strategies That Will Take You Out of This World

4 Reasons Why I Joined Numis Network

Network marketing has been around for over one hundred years. Avon, the oldest network marketing company around, was started back in 1886. It’s in 140 countries and has 10 billion dollars in sales every year. And you thought network marketing was a pyramid scheme.

Most people join because a friend is in, or a family member has joined and they are looking for others to build their organization, and these are the people that will start out, maybe sign a couple of people, and after a couple of months, they will quit. These are the ones who give network marketing a bad name.

I am going to give you four reasons why I joined Numis Network. These are four reasons you must have when you are looking to start any network marketing business. When these ingredients are there, you will be giving yourself the best opportunity for success.

1. Product

The first thing that everyone is looking at is the product. What are you going to be marketing, is naturally a very big ingredient in the mix. There are a lot of choices out there, and a lot of different industries to choose from. Juice, and vitamins from the 700 billion dollar health and wellness industry, and soaps, oil, phones….. the list goes on and on.

Numis Network has one of the most talked about and popular products around today, gold and silver. It’s on TV, stores are sprouting everywhere saying, “we buy gold”. Not only that, but gold and silver graded collectible coins is in a 100 billion dollar marketing niche, and Numis Network is the only company, using the vehicle of network marketing, to market these collectible coins in this niche. This niche is almost as big as the entire 120 billion dollar network marketing industry put together.

Think about this, every hour, eleven million dollars is being spent on collectible coins. People collect a lot of different things, and a whole lot of them collect coins.

2. Leadership

When I got involved in network marketing, I didn’t really know a whole lot. I teamed up with some people that knew a lot more than me and had been doing it successfully for a whole lot longer as well. When they introduced me to take a look at Numis, I knew it was something that I needed to pay attention too, and it was.

Ian Cordell and Chris Kent have been friends since the third grade. They both established a company called, “International Direct Selling Technology Corporation”. Their company is the provider of technology and software services for almost 400 hundred direct selling companies. Think they might have a few good ideas on how to put together a great compensation plan?

Then there is Jake Kovorkian. He’s been around for more than twenty years, and in his last company, Vaxa International, he built a sales force of over $500,000 a month. Needless to say, they made him president of the company.

Last, but not least, is Mike Mezack. Maybe you’ve seen Mike on TV with the Home Shopping Network. He’s been selling modern issue gold and silver coins there for the past twenty years. He has produced sales in excess of one billion dollars, and is regarded as the greatest numismatic salesman in the world. He works for me now, (and everyone else at Numis), and is my numismatic expert on all sales and educational videos. Visit my website and you’ll see him at work.

3. Market

Do you think that there just might be a pretty good market right now for gold and silver collectible coins? The market couldn’t be better. Everybody loves talking about it and no one is ever offended by it. Nobody minds having it collect in their closets or bedroom shelves. There’s no expiration date on it, and it has an intrinsic value that no other product has. As a matter of fact, if I had been collecting these incredible coins for the past ten years, the ones that were the oldest would still have a value attached to them. Can you say that about a juice or a vitamin?

4. Training

Duplication is something that you have to have in your network marketing business or you’re going to be in a boat without a paddle. If you don’t have a system of training and duplication, you may start out good, but you will fizzle out rather quickly.

Numis Network has an incredible system of training and duplication in place. I just plug my people into it and now I have more time to go out and recruit.  Not only does my organization grow, but it grows the right way, assuring me of a continued residual income that will last a long long time.

These are the reasons I choose Numis Network over the other five thousand companies in the network marketing industry and these are the ingredients that you must have when you are looking to start your business.

  • Is there a need for your product?
  • Is there the right leadership behind your company?
  • Is the market at the right temperature for your product?
  • Does your company have a system for training and duplicating to secure  your success?

Answer these questions with a big yes, and I think you’ve found the right company.

Stop Marketing – Just Talk To People

I know this is going to sound a little crazy, but to be successful in network marketing, you have to stop marketing. Yes, I said you have to stop marketing.

Every day I get email after email of some new product, or a brand new company that is getting ready to explode, and how I need to get into this, while it is still in pre-launch, or I am going to be left behind. Now I do go through all my emails, because you just never know when you might find some diamond in the rough, but I have to admit, I do go through them very fast at times, because I get so many marketing slams. I’m sure we’ve all experienced this.

This is what you have to stop doing if your doing it, and never start if you haven’t started yet. All these emails are having just the opposite effect that I’m sure their senders were intending them to have. Most people will never read them or even open them up.  They just hit delete. Nobody likes spam people. It’s very annoying.

What if you have a list? You’ve worked hard and you’ve done things the right way, and you have produced a following of people. You didn’t get these people by bombarding them with marketing, you won them over to you by building them up with valuable content and resources, that have put you in a place of leadership and knowing something that helped and benefited all of them. This builds a bond of trust and quality that will be the cement to hold your organization together for years to come. People will always buy from people they trust.

Instead of marketing, were just going to communicate with our prospects. We’re going to talk to them and explain who we are, and find out who they are and what they need. We’re going to tell them how our thing will fill the need that they have, and how it will make their life a whole lot better.  Then we’re going to spell out exactly what they should do next.

You know what? I guess that is marketing, but with a little twist. It doesn’t seem like marketing to me or to my prospects and it’s actually kind of fun. You will build relationships and customers at the same time. And if you come across the occasional jerk once in awhile, and you will , just don’t talk to them. If you wouldn’t like them as friend or co-worker, chances are you won’t want them in your business either. Pass them by and go on to the next person. Don’t waste your time.

Want friends - Become a freind and people will be attracted to you.

Once you have a following, don’t turn into one of those marketing maniacs, and send thousands of affiliate emails, trying to lure your list into buying something from you. All your doing is the same thing the others are but in reverse order. You’ve gained their trust and confidence as a leader and someone who knows, so continue to lead your group with that same hard work and energy. As you learn and grow, pass what’s working, and what you’ve learned onto them.

Stop marketing and just be you. Brand who you are. Your business and organization will grow, and those business relationships will turn into some good friends also. It’s a win win situation. Try it and let me know what you think. Leave your comment.

10 Steps To Success In Network Marketing

When I left Ford Motor Company and decided to start my own business, the first place that I looked was the network marketing industry. I had put in thirty five successful years at Ford, and now I wanted to put in successful years at my own business.

I had dabbled in network marketing many years ago and found it to be very interesting, but I have learned a great deal since then and I wanted to do this the right way and give me the greatest opportunity for success that I could.

I am going to give you the ten steps to success in network marketing, that I learned the hard way and by implementing these into your business, you can bypass some of my mistakes.

1. Commit and Follow Through

Your decision to start, build and grow your business is a very serious one. Consider the commitment you are making. Treat it as a business and it will pay you like a business. Treat it as a hobby and it will pay you like a hobby.

2.  Look For The Right Company

Find a company that has the right product for the right market. Products that are high in demand and have solid value. A strong compensation plan with solid and supportive leadership that will assist and train you with a long term vision of growth.

3.   Duplication

Many people forget the first word in network marketing. Building a network of like minded people. Leveraging your products through your network is your business. Make sure your company has a system of duplication that you can plug your people into.

4.   Surround Yourself With Success

Become a part of the company community.  Success never travels alone.  Hook into those people who are making it and become a sponge. Soak up what they are giving out. Listen and learn and watch what happens.

5.   Keep Communication Lines Open

Stay in touch with the person who brought you in and keep in touch with those you bring in. Help them get started on the right foot. Building a solid infrastructure is going to be a huge key to your success.

6.   Accountability

Find a mentor or somebody that you will be held accountable too. Someone who is successful and that you can connect with.

7.   Have Patience

So many people will jump into a network marketing business because a friend told them about it and they don’t give it any thought at all. Studies show that after 63 days they will quit. This is your business. No one builds a successful  business in 63 days. Give yourself a window of between 2-5 years.

8.   Chart Your Success

Set some goals and map out a plan to reach those goals. Have a balance of internet marketing and offline marketing. Try different strategies and watch which ones are working for you and which ones that aren’t.

9.   Make Good Business Decisions

Your business decisions should always be based on facts and not on fear  They should be thought through without all the emotional tags attached to them.

10.   Seek Wise Counsel

Getting good advice comes from good resources. Rely on the wisdom of successful and experienced people in your industry, not your wife, family or friends. After all, you wouldn’t want to be seeking advice about the brain surgery you must have, from your eight year old son who likes playing with his doctor kit!

The network marketing industry is a 120 billion dollar a year industry. There are many successful stories to write about. Decide today that you are going to be the next one.

If you have a success story or are just starting out in the network marketing industry, please tell me about it. I would love to hear about you and your experience.

Network Marketing is Not About Sales – It’s About Leadership

How many times have you heard the saying, don’t live above your means. Stay below the income level you have set for yourself. If that’s the mind set that you carry,  you will never be successful in network marketing or in any other business for that matter.

Their are four kinds of people in the world today.

The first one is the person that always has to be right. This person is so engrossed in proving that they are right and you are wrong, that they loose all focus on anything else. Their total goal is prove this fact at any cost. They will never make good business owners because their whole mindset is all wrong.

The second person is the always looking to be comfortable. This person’s house could be burning down around them, but as long as they have their remote in their hand and the football game on TV, they are OK. Comfortable people are always willing to let other people do all their work. They are not willing to roll up their sleeves and get into the game and get dirty themselves.

The third type of person is the one who always wants to be liked. They are not willing to say the right thing for fear that someone will not like what they say. They worry about everybody thinks about them, over getting the work done. They just want to be well liked and the work and the success goes by the wayside.

The fourth person is the one I hope all of you are. You want to win. These people have a drive and a penchant to get into the winners circle. It’s all about getting the work done and doing what it takes to win. No excuses and no letting up. It’s win or nothing else. These people are the ones you want on your team and in your organization.

When I was younger and played sports, coach would always say, “you will play as hard as you practice.” The serious players, the ones that wanted to win, would practice and practice hard. They wanted to make themselves better than anybody out there. I realize that this same principle works in your network marketing business.

The serious players will be the ones burning the midnight oil on leadership training. Writing the articles and making the videos. Connecting with people and mentors that will make them better than anyone out there. That will make more effective leadership. Remember the cream will rise to the top.

These are the leaders that you want on your team. These are the leaders that you must become. The leader that can grow and mature and build an organization. One that he can lead and duplicate himself through. No one makes it to the top by himself.

Network marketing is not about sales, it’s about leadership development. Qualify people to join your organization. Be selective and your organization will reward you with true leaders and a residual income that can last a lifetime. One that you can pass down to your kids and grand kids.

Remember. Wealth is not measured by how much money you have. It’s measured by how much time you have. Your hard work today will pay you for a long long time down the road.

Now I have to go. I have a tee time in an hour.

Leadership Development

One of my favorite movies is “Band of Brothers”. It’s the true story of the 101st Airborne Division, Easy Company, who fought back in World War II. I don’t know why they called them Easy Company, because there was nothing that these guys did that was easy. They were lead by Major Richard Winters, who came up through the ranks to lead this group of men through some of the most hard fought battles in WWII.

Major Winters was just not handed this role of leader. He earned it, and the respect of everyone of his men. He brought the value of a true leader out into the open for all his men to see. He never asked his men to go through something that he was not willing to go first. One of his soldiers said, ” We would have followed him anywhere.” Can people say that about you or me?

As you are following this series, we talked about becoming a student of your craft, in attraction marketing Rule #3. As you grow and your marketing and prospecting abilities are being refined, you are becoming a leader. You know more then 90% of all the other network marketers that are out there. You are starting to stand out from the rest of the other peddlers in the ocean of network marketing. You are leading with value like Gold. You have information that others want to know and learn so they can become successful in their network marketing businesses.

Have you ever heard the statement, “You are what you think”. You are a product of your thoughts. Focus on what you are becoming, not what you were. Remember, Michael Jordan didn’t become one of the best scorers to ever play the game by sitting and dreaming about it all day. He worked very hard at being the best basketball player he could be. Michael Jordan pulled away from the rest of the players by becoming a student of the game, working hard at learning and refining his skills. Even though he is not playing anymore, he is still one of the most respected and sought after people in the world.

This is exactly how you should approach your business. You must focus your thought energies on what you want to become. The greatest book ever written, The Bible, says ” As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” You are a product of your thought process.

Study your craft and lead with value. People will follow a leader that will lead them to victory and the bank, not someone who is going to lead them down the wrong path and to the death of their businesses.

Another saying that you may recall. (Sorry, they are popping in my head like crazy right now) Talk is cheap. Seeing is believing. Perception is reality. How people see you is what you really are. There is a lot of empty words on the Internet today. Don’t let your words be empty too. Let them be full of value to help others. When you do, you will earn the respect of others and be marked out as a true leader. Your following will grow and so will your business.
